It takes a fair amount of time, energy and resources to create and maintain your photographer membership on Head & Heart Photography, and to continually generate as many high quality leads as possible. As such, if you are accepted and offered a position on the H&H website you will be asked to commit to a 1 year contract and pay a monthly fee (or an annual fee with a 10% discount if you prefer) based on the membership option you choose. At the end of the first year you will have an opportunity to renew your contract for another year before I open your position to the next qualified photographer on the waiting list.
In addition to leads generated through paid marketing and an increased SEO presence for H&H, my own website (Kiel Rucker Photography) often appears at in the top Google’s Local Map listings, just below in the top part of the organic results, and in the snippets for Yelp and other listing/review services on the first page of the most relevant wedding photography related Google searches in Santa Barbara. This alone has generated more leads than I can pursue – either because the couple’s budget is below my minimum rate or because I’m already booked for their date. All of these overflow leads will go to Head & Heart. I have also been a wedding photographer in Santa Barbara for 8 years and have become part of a fairly large network of local wedding professionals in the area, some being planners with whom I’m working to bring even more quality leads to Head & Heart Photography.
FAQs
Will I still be able to book and shoot jobs under my own name/business?
Yes! Anything that comes your way outside of H&H is still all yours to book and shoot as you like, while all leads generated by H&H (and successive jobs booked with the same client via H&H) will be directed and booked through H&H.
Do I retain rights to images I capture/create for Head & Heart?
Yes! I only ask that you tag H&H in any images you’ve captured if posted on social media, or include a simple, inconspicuous mention such as, “Shot for H&H, DATE.”
Who edits the images I capture for jobs booked through Head & Heart?
By default, you will be responsible for editing culling and editing the images from each shoot/session that you book.
