What is Head & Heart Photography, anyway?

You can think of H&H like a cross between a trusted local photography studio, and your very own booking expert & liaison for contracting the right photographer and photography option for you.

Head & Heart provides couples, families and individuals with all the support and information necessary to make an informed and confident decision when booking their photographer. One of the things that makes us different is that we also work just as diligently on behalf of our member photographers, focusing on connecting them with couples and clients who understand the value of high quality photography, and who understand that a higher price doesn’t always equal a higher quality experience or image set.

How do I learn more about the Head & Heart Photographers?

Submitting and inquiry is the quickest and most efficient way to learn more about H&H photographers. On the site, you can read a quick bio about each photographer and see a small sampling of their work. After deciding on a photographer whose work and personality you connect with, click on the “inquire” button on their profile and fill out the inquiry form with all the information you have about your plans so far and they will get back to you ASAP with their ability and to answer any other questions or thoughts you may have.

What kinds of photography do you offer?

What kind of photography do you need? There’s a good chance one of H&H’s Member Photographers will be able to accommodate your plans and projects, though H&H is primarily focused on wedding photography, elopement photography, all manner of family session photography including maternity photography, newborn photography and general event photography (such as birthdays and company parties).

How much does wedding photography cost?

It depends on many things, but one of my primary goals is to find and represent the best photographers I can find for ALL budgets. It doesn’t always work out, but our goal is to do everything we can to make it work. For wedding photography options, we currently have packages ranging between $2,500 & $4,500 for Vanguard photographers, and between $4,500-$8,500 for Artisan photographers.

Do you offer wedding videography?

Yes we do! H&H currently offers stand alone wedding videography options as well as wedding photography plus wedding videography options for couples to consider.

What can I expect after calling?

After speaking with us, you will mostly likely want to take a closer look at the H&H photographer profiles and samples of their work to see which one has a style and personality that best fits with what you have in mind for your day. After filling out an online inquiry for a photographer, they will be in touch with you shortly to confirm availability and to discuss more specifics about your photography wants and wishes.

What is Kiel Rucker’s role with Head & Heart Photography?

My primary role and responsibility to member photographers is to seek out and generate as many high quality leads for them as possible. Equally as important is that each and every Head & Heart client has the best experience possible from initial inquiry all the through the delivery of final images and beyond. Another of my roles for couples and clients is to facilitate fluid communication between themselves and their photographer, to make sure that expectations are clear on both ends of the agreement, and to take charge of all print and product deliveries after the event or session.
